We are Issues Magazine.
We are an undergraduate publication at Washington University in St. Louis that explores social issues in St. Louis through the lens of architecture and design. The spaces we inhabit each day molds our experiences, both by fostering interaction and by putting up barriers. Using the city of St. Louis as our primary lens, Issues draws connections between both tangible and intangible aspects of the environment. With both a print and an online version of the publication, Issues reaches out to a diverse readership, including students of Washington University and residents of the St. Louis region. By utilizing a wide spectrum of media, Issues hopes to inspire action as well as awareness about the intersection of design and social justice.
